Savills’ Global Head of Hotels, George Nicholas, says he is confident 2019 will be another stellar year for the hotel sales market globally.

Speaking exclusively to WAYFARER Host and Editor-In-Chief, James Wilkinson, on camera at the 2019 Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) in Los Angeles recently (Jan 29), Nicholas revealed the market sentiment was positive and on the back of the USD$36 billion in transactions in United States alone during 2018, expectations were the same for this year.

On a global level, Nicholas said solid demand remained for Asia, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, while the warmer regions remained a hot commodity, with investors seeking out the “sun and beach” properties once more.
