Wayfarer TV exclusive: United’s Chief Digital Officer talks top new travel tech

United Airlines might be making waves when it comes to launching new ultra-long-haul routes, but behind the scenes, the Chicago-based carrier is also rolling-out new technology to make the guest experience easier than ever before.

From offering 3D seat views when selecting a seat online to in-terminal GPS software so passengers can navigate easier between gates at the airline’s busiest hubs, United’s investment in technology is helping make the travel experience smoother and faster.

To find out more about those initiatives and what’s hot and new on the tech front, Wayfarer host and Editor-In-Chief James Gregory Wilkinson spoke on camera to United Airlines’ Executive Vice President – Technology and Chief Digital Officer, Linda Jojo, in Chicago at the company’s recent ‘Flight Plan 2020’ global event.
