Wayfarer TV: Cathay Pacific boosts capacity to 10 weekly Sydney flights from Hong Kong

by James Wilkinson

Cathay Pacific is quickly upping its Hong Kong-Sydney schedule as New South Wales ditches all quarantine for fully vaccinated returning Australian citizens from the start of November.

A spokesperson for Cathay Pacific said as a result of the easing of restrictions, the airline will be offering increased capacity across ten flights a week to and from Sydney for eligible travellers.

From November 1, Cathay Pacific will operate flight CX 101 Hong Kong-Sydney and CX 100 Sydney-Hong Kong on a daily basis, while flights CX 138 and CX 139 will operate on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
