Taking place at the hotel’s Aria Bar and Lounge, every Tuesday to Thursday from 1 July to 14 August 2025, the afternoon tea experience aims to deliver “timeless elegance through both taste and presentation”.
Langham Hotels and Resorts Regional Director of Marketing, Pacific and Director of Sales and Marketing at The Langham, Melbourne, André Jacques, described the partnership as “a natural fit”.
“Both brands share a deep appreciation for timeless style, craftsmanship, and attention to detail,” he said.
“We’re proud to bring this quintessentially British experience to our guests—it’s a perfect blend of elegance and storytelling that we believe will resonate deeply with our guests.”
Laura Ashley Director of Licensing and Brand Management, Lindsay Pearl, said the partnership comes at a significant time for the brand.
“It’s a true delight to bring our unique brand and its timeless aesthetic to such an iconic and elegant venue, especially as we continue to expand our presence here in Australia.
“This collaboration is particularly special as we celebrate what would have been Laura’s 100th birthday this year – what a wonderful way to honour her legacy and introduce the Laura Ashley experience to even more people.”
The menu, designed by Executive Chef, Thomas Rappl, will celebrate classic British flavours with a modern twist.
“Laura Ashley’s floral aesthetic inspired us to create a tea experience that feels both nostalgic and fresh – beautiful to look at and memorable to taste. It’s a menu that honours tradition while inviting guests to linger and indulge,” he said.
Aria Bar and Lounge will be decorated with the Laura Ashely Aria print, a romantic design from the brand’s extensive archive.
The Aria print will also be on display across printed menus and bespoke table runners created exclusively for this collaboration by Laura Ashley’s soft furnishings partner, Basford Brands.
