Tune in: Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Max ups the home entertainment experience

by James Wilkinson

Amazon has launched the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max, which the technology heavyweight says is its best streaming stick yet.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is 40% more powerful than Fire TV Stick 4K and features a new quad-core 1.8GHz processer and 2GB of RAM, so apps start faster and navigation is more fluid.

It is also the first Fire TV streaming device to offer WiFi 6 support for smoother streaming in 4K when multiple WiFi 6-connected devices are streaming.

When it comes to the audio and visual experiences, the Fire TV 4K Max supports 4K UHD, HDR, and HDR10+ streaming, as well as Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

It comes with the latest Alexa Voice Remote so you can easily use your voice to search for the content you want to watch, manage your smart home devices, and more.

Four pre-set buttons get you to your favourite apps quickly, while you can also control power and volume on your compatible TV and soundbar without needing another remote.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max offers access to hundreds of thousands of movies and TV episodes, thousands of apps, and Alexa skills. Enjoy favourites from Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV, Paramount+ in addition to local services like Stan and more.

Stream for free with YouTube or watch films & TV programs from local broadcasters including ABC iview, 10 play, 7plus, 9Now and more. Users can also listen to songs, playlists, live radio stations, and podcasts through services like Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and TuneIn.

Fire TV Stick 4K Max is available now for AU$99 on amazon.com.au.
