Wayfarer TV: Qatar Airways announces new global destinations, resumptions at ITB Berlin

Qatar Airways created a major buzz on the opening day of ITB Berlin 2023 (Mar 6), the world’s largest international travel and tourism trade show, as the carrier revealed new destinations, flight resumptions and frequency increases across the globe.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Akbar Al Baker, announced seven new destinations planned for launch in 2023, including Chittagong, Juba, Kinshasa, Lyon, Medan, Toulouse, and Trabzon.

He said Qatar Airways is also resuming flights to 11 destinations, including Beijing, Birmingham, Buenos Aires, Casablanca, Davao, Marrakesh, Nice, Osaka, Phnom Penh, Ras Al-Khaimah, and Tokyo Haneda.

That comes alongside multiple destinations which are getting frequency increases scheduled for the year 2023.
