The Ritz-Carlton Perth’s open-air cocktail venue, Songbird Bar, is launching a new cocktail series this weekend that celebrates the best in global mixology.

The Twilight Tails series will commence on Saturday May 17, welcoming internationally acclaimed bartender Shingo Gokan and his team from The SG Tavern in Tokyo for an exclusive one-night takeover.

The series will feature guest shifts from some of the world’s top bars, including headliners featured on the prestigious World’s 50 Best Bars list.

The first session will see Songbird showcase signature cocktails from The SG Tavern, The SG Club’s sister bar in Tokyo, Marunouchi.

“Following our hugely successful collaborations with Salmon Guru, Galaxy Bar and Maybe Sammy last year, we wanted to expand the experience and give Perth access to the kind of global mixology usually reserved for international capitals,” said The Ritz-Carlton, Perth, Beverage and Bars Manager, Marco Barsotti.

“Twilight Tails is about creating a destination where both locals and travellers can explore the world through cocktails, and The SG Tavern is the perfect way to launch the series.”
