Sydney Rock Oyster farmer East 33’s awesome Father’s Day collab with Archie Rose

Sydney Rock Oyster farmers East 33 have joined forces with renowned Australian distillery Archie Rose to create three bespoke spirits for Father’s Day, including a limited-edition Kilpatrick Martini, to complement their in-season oysters curated from multi-generational farming families dotted along the NSW coastline.

In East 33’s mission to share Sydney Rock Oysters with the world, the prestigious oyster company works with those who share the same passion: innovative artists, iconic fashion labels, the finest producers of premium spirits and wines, and the most skilled chefs in the world.

Founded in 2014 and located in Sydney, Archie Rose Distilling Co. is one of the most highly awarded distilleries in Australia and produces a diverse range of internationally recognised whiskies, gins, vodkas, and rums, as well as one-off proudly produces a diverse range of collaborations and limited releases.

Created especially for East 33, Archie Rose’s master mixologists have designed a trio of spirits for Father’s Day including a premixed Kilpatrick Martini, Noon’s Gate Gin and Hell’s Gate Vodka.

Using Archie Rose’s Original Vodka, the Kilpatrick Martini combines smoky flavours of sundried tomatoes, lemon and anchovy and balances the delicate umami and salty nuances of the Sydney Rock Oyster to create a sharp bite and smooth finish.

Named after East 33’s exclusive oyster leases ‘Noon’s Up’ and ‘Hell’s Gate’ at Wallis Lake, the Noon’s Up Gin combines sunrise lime, ginger and rivermint and these citrus and spice characteristics flow onto the palate and enhance the sweetness and minerality of East 33’s oysters.

The Hell’s Gate Vodka is a collision of devilish good flavours and perfectly embodies the waters of Hell’s Gate, where the river meets the sea in rapid swirls. The peppery, herbaceous flavours of native Dorrigo pepper complement the creamy and full-bodied nature of the oysters while notes of lemon myrtle and liquorice root add a subtle sweetness to round off the finish.

“Sydney Rock Oysters and Archie Rose cocktails, what could be better! It’s been awesome working with the flavour and nuances of East 33’s oysters to create this limited-edition trio and we can’t wait to enjoy it ourselves this Father’s Day,” says Archie Rose Founder, Will Edwards.

To complement the Archie Rose spirits, East 33 is also offering the addition of a stylish brass nautical wheel bottle opener, a must-have for every oyster-loving dad.

The East 33 Father’s Day range includes two dozen oysters and the limited edition Archie Rose Trio for $169 with the addition of a nautical wheel bottle opener for $35.

Delivery is available on Father’s Day to locations throughout New South Wales, as well as Melbourne and Brisbane.
