Quest Apartment Hotels New Zealand is celebrating the opening of its second property in two weeks with the introduction of Quest Hastings on June 26, 2023.

The hotel marks the 41st New Zealand property for the independently owned and operated accommodation group.

“Quest has worked incredibly hard to manage the relationships with our landlords, supporting local partners, and focusing on the needs of the corporate travel market,” said Quest Apartment Hotels (NZ), Chief Operating Officer, Adrian Turner.

“The opening of Quest Hastings will support all of our existing corporate clients as well as open up the opportunity for new clients to experience the Quest boutique apartment hotels.”

Located at 304 Eastbourne Street East, behind the new Hawkes Bay Arts and Events Centre, Quest Hastings is expected to appeal to those visiting the Hawkes Bay region for business or leisure.

The new business will be operated by Scott and Sonia Belingham.

“After gaining valuable experience as a property manager with Quest in both Australia and New Zealand, I set my sights on becoming a franchisee,” Scott Belingham explained.

“When the chance to operate a brand-new property in Hastings presented itself, I jumped at the opportunity. As a franchisee, I am excited to continue providing exceptional service to guests while also utilising my business skills to ensure the success of the property.”

Quest will open its third Christchurch property in November 2023 with the opening of Quest on Cambridge Terrace.
