A new premium accommodation offering set within the Hunter Valley’s Bimbadgen vineyards is set to open in mid-October.

The Lane Retreat, Bimbadgen, developed by property and hospitality group Mulpha Australia, is nestled within 15 hectares of secluded vineyard and natural bushlands.

With 60 premium studio retreats – each featuring their own outdoor decks – The Lake Retreat is designed to offer unique accommodation that complements Bimbadgen’s Palmer’s Lane wedding and events venue and the winery and restaurants on McDonald Road.

“The Lane Retreat has been designed to offer all the comfort and amenities guests can expect while ensuring the Hunter wine country and the natural environment remain the stars of the show,” said Mulpha’s General Manager of Hospitality, Belinda Stapleton.

“This is a retreat for people to experience our wonderful Hunter wine country in their own way and make their own memories in a unique piece of Australia.

“It will appeal to anyone looking for a genuinely restful, private retreat to recharge the batteries, as well as for weddings, family functions and corporate retreats just 2 hours’ drive from Sydney, and many miles from the hustle and bustle of the city.”

Each studio retreat has king bedding, a bathroom with double rain head showers and Hunter bathroom amenities, a kitchenette and gourmet breakfast provisions supplied daily.

A bespoke store and pantry offers espresso coffee, gourmet cheese, snacks, wines and spirits, along with bespoke gifts.

Guests also have access to a new luxury swimming pool on site, Bimbadgen’s flagship restaurant Esca, its woodfired pizzeria and cellar door, and Emma’s Cottage Vineyard boutique winery nearby.

The Lane Retreat, Bimbadgen is the newest addition to Mupha’s growing hospitality portfolio which includes InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, InterContinental Sydney, InterContinental Hayman Island Resort, the recently opened Bar Messenger and Pont Brasserie at Circular Quay, Sydney and Isla Cantina, Edgewater Dining, Ioesco Cucina and Cove Tavern in Queensland.
