The 31-storey new-build Radisson RED Sydney Haymarket will be located on the southern end of Sydney’s CBD, situated close to Central Station, Darling Harbour and the International Convention Centre, as well as Sydney’s emerging Tech Central precinct.
Featuring 328 rooms, the property will be designed as an upper-upscale lifestyle hotel catering to both international and domestic guests.
The move marks the group’s first Radisson RED in the country, following the lifestyle brand’s successful regional debut in Auckland in February. A third Radisson RED is slated to open in Queenstown in 2028.
Mark Berry and Kyle Vinnicombe of Tuscan advised on the transaction, supporting Ceerose and Radisson Hotel Group in bringing the partnership together.

“The signing of Australia’s first Radisson RED marks an important milestone in our growth strategy for Australasia. Sydney is a key market for us, and Haymarket is an ideal location to introduce the Radisson RED brand to Australia. This signing reflects our focus on growing through strong partnerships and carefully selected opportunities that bring the right brands to the right locations. We’re excited to work with Ceerose on this landmark project and to further strengthen Radisson Hotel Group’s presence in the Australian market,” Radisson Hotel Group Managing Director, Australasia, Lachlan Hoswell said.
The urban hotel will feature a restaurant, a lobby café-bar, a pool bar, meeting rooms totaling 218 square meters, an outdoor swimming pool, and a fitness center, as well as a dedicated early- and late-check-out lounge for travelling guests.
The new-built tower will add to Sydney’s southern skyline, overlooking the heritage Grand Clock Tower and benefiting from strong visibility across surrounding residential and commercial areas.
“Radisson RED Sydney Haymarket has been conceived as a destination that reflects the energy and transformation taking place across this part of Sydney. Its location at the gateway to the CBD, close to Central Station, Tech Central, and some of the city’s most important visitor and business precincts, creates a compelling opportunity for a new lifestyle hotel. We are delighted to partner with Radisson Hotel Group to bring a distinctive, globally recognized brand to this landmark development,” Founder and Managing Director of Ceerose, Edward Doueihi said.
Bringing together informal service and flexible spaces, Radisson RED has been designed for travellers who value “bold design, social spaces, music, art, and a fresh approach to the hotel experience,” according to the group.
The latest signing continues the group’s development momentum in Australasia, following expansion through a targeted mix of lifestyle, upper-upscale, resort, and conversion opportunities in key urban and leisure destinations.
