Dinner with Dad: dine in with Tayim’s virtual dinners

Sydney’s Harbour Rocks Hotel, part of Sofitel’s MGallery collection, is extending its series of virtual wine and dine experiences on the back of huge demand.

Each virtual dinner experience includes a brilliant four-course meal from the hotel’s Tayim restaurant, complete with an interactive demonstration by executive chef Leron Ben Avraham, along with bottles of vino from legendary De Beaurepaire Wines in Rylstone.

Harbour Rocks Hotel General Manager, Silvia Kypriotis, said the idea of the virtual wine and dine experiences was to create “an element of escapism during these turbulent times”.

“Covid has created some uncertainty during these times, I am glad that we can be connected in this virtual space, through food, wine, music and stories,” she said.

The dinners include top drops from either DeBeaurepaire Wines matched with Chef Avraham’s notable contemporary Mediterranean cuisine.

Chef Avraham is known for a menu that centres around contemporary cuisine with bold flavours and fresh produce.

Headlining the drinks for the virtual dinners are De Beaurepaire Wines, based in Rylstone (located near Mudgee and Bathurst), a family business at the forefront of Australian wine production which makes a variety of award-winning sustainably cultivated wines.

During the dinners, you’ll hear from winemaker William De Beaurepaire, who guides you through the wine tasting experience in a relaxed and entertaining style, as he shares his expertise and insight into the featured wines from his family’s vineyard.

Tayim x Bacar x Hyde Hacienda + Young Henry’s Brewery

In an exciting new collaboration between Tayim at Harbour Rocks Hotel, Hyde Hacienda at Pullman Quay Grand and Bacar Restaurant at Pullman Sydney Olympic Park, featuring Young Henry’s Brewery, treat Dad to an unforgettable virtual food and beverage experience for Father’s Day.

Combining the glamour of Hyde Hacienda, the Middle Eastern tradition of Tayim, and the contemporary style of Bacar, this event features a three-course meal, two Young Henry’s beers and two cocktails from Hyde Hacienda, including an exclusive cocktail masterclass. A virtual experience not to be missed!

The event begins with a cocktail and cocktail masterclass from Hyde Hacienda. Followed then by seafood platter entree from Bacar and paired beer from Young Henry’s. Then there is a main from Tayim and additional paired beer from Young Henry’s. It is then finished with after dinner digestive from Hyde Hacienda and dessert collaboration between Bacar and Tayim.
