Brand debut: Wyndham to launch Singapore hotel next month

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is set to debut its flagship Wyndham brand in Singapore with the signing of 591-key hotel in the city’s Civic District.

Peninsula Excelsior Singapore, a Wyndham Hotel will have a soft opening next month before officially launching as Wyndham Singapore in early 2024 following a multi-million-dollar refurbishment.

The signing reflects Wyndham’s strategy to boost its presence in the country with distinctive, upscale, midscale, lifestyle, and value brands.

“Being a major hub and gateway city to the rest of South East Asia and the world, Singapore plays a significant part in Wyndham’s regional growth strategy and its intention to fulfill its commitment of providing guests with best-in-class accommodation options across the region,” said Wyndham Hotels and Resorts Vice President of Business Development South East Asia and the Pacific Rim, Matt Holmes.

“This opening further illustrates our growth momentum in the region and builds upon our strong pipeline of recent signings and openings. We will continue to pursue suitable conversion opportunities in strategic markets across Asia Pacific.”

The hotel will feature extensive facilities including a fitness centre, sauna, two swimming pools, executive lounge for club floor guests and four multifunctional rooms to meet the needs of both leisure and corporate travellers.
