by Ruth Hogan

Rydges North Sydney has reopened its doors, introducing a fresh new look following a full refurbishment of the McLaren Street property.

The new-look property features neutral tones, tactile textures and modern artwork with an abundance of natural light.

All of the 168 rooms and suites – a mix of One Bedroom King, Two-Bedroom Family Bunks and a Penthouse Suite with views of Sydney Harbour – have been refreshed and fitted out with Rydges Dream Beds.

The property features the largest conference and event space in North Sydney, including five newly designed meeting areas, spanning an expansive 399 sqm, with state-of-the-art technology throughout.

An interactive fitness studio features the latest fitness technology, while Wattle Bar and Kitchen serves up Australian cuisine, with a modern twist.

“Guests can experience comfort, convenience, and style at the newly transformed Rydges North Sydney,” said EVT’s Group General Manager responsible for Rydges Hotels, Troy Cuthbertson.

“This hotel has a room for everyone, from guests arriving for business to those on a family holiday. The modern rooms, bathed in natural light, are freshly furnished to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay.

“The hotel offers North Sydney’s largest conference and event space with the latest technology and design. As a corporate hub, dining precinct and with the opening of the Sydney Metro, North Sydney is the perfect base for business, meetings and leisure travellers to explore Sydney.”
