Virgin Australia has launched its inaugural flight between Sydney and Hong Kong, the latest step in the airline’s expansion in Greater China.

Speaking exclusively on camera to WAYFARER Editor-In-Chief and Host, James Wilkinson, aboard the launch flight earlier this week (July 2), Virgin Australia Group CEO and Managing Director, John Borghetti, said the new services, which have come a year after Melbourne-Hong Kong flights took off, have already proven popular with the carrier recording strong forward bookings in both directions.
