All 60 suites in the hotel have been updated with new furniture, fixtures, light and décor, while public areas were given a refresh with a new design direction with new carpet, artworks and paintwork in corridors, and a complete reconfiguration of the reception to create an inviting check-in area and a relaxing lounge for guests to enjoy, complete with electric fireplace.

The property, part of Accor Vacation Club. was designed to reinforce the property’s reputation as one of Melbourne’s leading boutique hotels.

“We continually upgrade and refresh our properties as part of our commitment to providing exceptional experiences for our more than 30,000 members. The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane has always been a much-loved property, and with this multimillion-dollar refurbishment, we’re confident it will remain a standout choice for members who want to be based in the very heart of Melbourne,” Accor Vacation Club, Chief Executive Officer, Craig Wood said.

In line with its sustainability standards, the hotel donated its high-quality pre-loved furniture to local charities, and valuable resources were reused within the community, rather than going to landfill.
