The hotels mark the first step in TFE’s strategic expansion into the UK market, building on its growing presence across continental Europe and Asia.
“These two properties align beautifully with our vision of operating flexible, design-led studio-hotel experiences in vibrant, globally connected cities. Glasgow and Cambridge not only strengthen TFE Hotels’ European footprint but also lay the foundation for future growth in the UK market,” TFE Chief Executive Officer, Antony Ritch said.
The Hobson Cambridge, a 56-studio room hotel has been meticulously restored to preserve the building’s historic features, including vaulted ceilings, timber beams, and period detailing. Offering guests contemporary kitchenettes and open-plan living spaces, the hotel also features a touch of Australia featuring the aptly named, Oz and Isle restaurant.
Meanwhile, The Wellington which opens on December 8, will transform a Glasgow favourite into a 98-key apartment-hotel blending 19th-century grandeur with modern-day comforts.
“With these openings, TFE Hotels brings Australian hospitality to the UK, offering travellers a fresh way to experience two of Britain’s most iconic destinations,” the group stated.
Both properties are centrally located, placing guests within walking distance of cultural landmarks, dining precincts, and transport hubs.
