EVT experiments with compact room types at Adelaide hotel

Atura Adelaide Airport has expanded its key count by 28 with the addition of smaller room types as EVT looks to maximise assets to drive revenue.

Atura’s three new room types range in size from 12m2 for Snuggy; 18m2 for Snuggy Plus, and 40m2 for a Family room, reflecting a global trend of space-saving room designs.

“Atura’s new rooms represent our commitment to innovation in meeting the diverse needs of our guests,” said EVT Group General Manager Operations, Callum Kennedy. “By leveraging our expertise and customer insights across our EVT portfolio, we’ve created a unique offering that combines affordability with essential amenities, all while fostering a sense of community.
“This innovation creates flexibility for future Atura developments, setting Atura apart in the Australian market and underscoring our dedication to evolving with the needs of modern travellers.” Atura’s compact Snuggy rooms have taken inspiration from Lylo’s social accommodation model, but upscaled based on Atura customer insights and brand design.

These rooms feature a clever cabin-like design with essential amenities at an affordable price. Each room includes a King Dream Bed, slimline window, compact ensuite with Mr Smith amenities, luggage storage and a foldaway desk shaped like a vintage suitcase – some with and some without a television.
