Wayfarer TV throwback: Series 01 Episode 01 the best of London, England

The globally renowned Wayfarer executive travel TV show, which has been broadcast onboard airlines and networks across the world, celebrates six years since its debut on Sky News Australia this month and to mark the milestone, we’re showcasing some of our best episodes from series one. This week we kick off with Episode 01 of Series 01, which kicked off the show and showcased the best of London.

Hosted by award-winning travel editor James Wilkinson, Wayfarer was broadcast in HD on Foxtel channel 290 and in SD on channel 602 on a weekly basis from July 18-September 19, 2018.

On the first episode, Wilkinson is in London and takes viewers through British Airways’ flagship Terminal 5 at London Heathrow Airport, inside the Mondrian hotel at Sea Containers, speaks to Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton, goes around East London’s hip Shoreditch neighbourhood with Allsaints Founder Stuart Trevor, looks at the top suite at The Dorchester hotel, around leading department store Fortnum and Mason and much more.

Destinations in series one included London, New York, Paris, Los Angeles, Berlin, Singapore, Honolulu and Maui and on each episode, Wayfarer uncovered the best hotels, bars, restaurants, galleries and much more.

Over the coming weeks, Wayfarer will showcase some of these episodes in full HD, exactly how they were broadcast on Sky News Australia.
