The popular Japan Airlines JL 51 and JL 52 flights are currently being operated by a Boeing 787-9 and the upgauge will result in services operated by a 4-class Boeing 777-300ER which features a fantastic First Suite product.
“Our aim is to capture a strong demand, especially from inbound travellers and differentiate ourselves from other airlines by being the only airline offering First Class service on the Japan-Sydney route,” a spokesperson from Japan Airlines told Wayfarer.
Japan Airlines’ First Class Suites feature seats that convert into 2 metre long beds, 23-inch TV screens, expansive storage, premium meals and beverages and exceptional service.
Passengers can also choose their preferred sleeping comfort (firm or soft) with specially-designed ‘airweave’ dual mode mattresses and accompanying S-Line pillows.
