Fiji is now set to get another boost, with the launch of new, direct Fiji Airways flights from Vancouver, Canada to Nadi from November 25 that will provide the first ever direct air link between the two nations.
Speaking to Wayfarer after a Fiji Airways promotional flight to Vancouver this week (Aug 10) to ramp-up interest in the new service, Tourism Fiji CEO, Brent Hill, says the new services will provide a massive boost to the nation from a key emerging North American market.
To find out the latest, Wayfarer Host and Editor-In-Chief, James Wilkinson, spoke exclusively on camera to Hill at Vancouver Airport, where he also discussed tourism growing to all corners of Fiji and much more.
Fiji Airways will fly direct to and from Vancouver twice a week on Mondays and Fridays from November 25 and Fiji Airways CEO Andre Viljoen told Wayfarer services could be increased on the back of demand.
Vancouver is the 20th direct international service to be operated by Fiji Airways’ world class fleet, which includes the flagship Airbus A350-900, headlined by the carrier’s all-new Business Class that features flatbed seats with all-aisle access.
