Wayfarer TV: the making of Cathay Pacific’s new Business class Aria Suites

by James Wilkinson

Cathay Pacific’s all new Business class Aria Suites and Premium Economy cabins are set to change the game for the carrier and offer an all-new elevated experience.

In the lead-up to the debut of the first Boeing 777-300ER to feature the cabins, Cathay Pacific has released a fantastic documentary that shares the design story behind the carrier’s new Business class Aria Suites and Premium Economy cabins, highlighting the passenger experience-centric journey that has inspired the new cabin features and design to ensure maximum comfort and enjoyment.

The design story video includes commentary from Cathay Pacific GM Customer Experience and Design, Vivian Lo and Cathay Pacific Head of Customer Experience, Inflight Product, Laurent Tremblay-Simard, who have helped create what will be an inflight masterpiece.

The centerpiece for the new business class Aria Suites was knowing passengers want more than a comfortable seat, they want a space to be enjoyed without interruptions, including sliding privacy doors and everything they need at their fingertips.

In Premium Economy, passenger experience was the main consideration inspiring every element of privacy, storage, and lighting.
