Wayfarer TV review: inside the luxurious Private Suite at LAX Airport

by James Wilkinson

The Private Suite at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) was one of the hottest travel offerings in America when it debuted two years ago and now, in 2020, it has become more popular than ever thanks to an offering that keeps getting better.

With a promise of delivering the most seamless and luxurious approach to airline travel that California has ever seen, Private Suite at LAX has turned travelling through one of the world’s busiest airports into an absolute breeze.

The Private Suite is a private terminal opposite Tom Bradley and American Airlines‘ T4 and T5, and inside you’ll find private TSA screening, on-site customs and immigration processing, plus high-end suites that you can relax in before and after the flight.

Staff from The Private Suite will pick you up from the aircraft and take you on an exclusive tarmac transfer in BMW 7-Series sedans to the private terminal – and the reverse when you are heading off from LAX.

The staff will collect your luggage from the belt – or deliver it to the terminal and have it checked-in – as you receive unprecedented privacy, comfort and service while you relax in your suite, complete with fine wines and top-notch food from Wally’s Beverly Hills.

The Private Suite recently announced a partnership with American Airlines where customers purchasing Five Star Service or Five Star Select — an elevated Five Star Service experience with access to Flagship Lounge and Flagship First Dining – can use the luxurious offering as a special add-on.

“We understand the value our customers put on their time and a personalized end-to-end travel experience — whether it is a private travel experience, a little more luxury, fine dining in the airport or getting to the gate quickly, we have them covered,” said American Airlines Vice President of Global Marketing, Janelle Anderson. “This gives our customers a range of choices when traveling on American.”

For American Airlines’ Premium cabin customers on both international and domestic flights, it means they can now enjoy an elevated LAX experience away from crowds and traffic.

“LAX is one of the busiest airports in the country,” said The Private Suite’s co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, Josh Gausman.

“Now, American Airlines customers will be able to skip typical airport congestion, clear security in seconds, and be whisked across the airfield directly to their flight or to the exceptional Flagship First Dining. There aren’t many better ways to experience LAX.”

The Private Suite experience for American Airlines customers traveling in premium cabins can be booked by contacting the Five Star Service team.
