Recognised this year by Forbes Travel Guide as a Five Star Spa, Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown has debuted Club27, an exclusive health and wellness membership club designed to suit the most discerning fitness seekers.

Created by Senior Spa Director Tara Cruz, Club27 was designed with locals and frequent travellers to the hotel in mind.

The exclusive membership club features Downtown New York’s newest intimate space where members can focus on their personal fitness and wellness goals, surrounded by inspiration and without any distractions.

“We really wanted to create an exclusive yet inclusive experience for our members, that incorporates health and wellness into an overall lifestyle,” Cruz said. “There was a lot of thought put into this offering to encompass an all-around wellness program for each member.

“Through offering access to the amenities on our Wellness Floor, paired with luxurious five star services, the result is a truly customised experience on your own terms.

Club27 members have access to the Health and Wellness Floor of the Hotel, which incorporates a 75 foot (23 metre) indoor heated lap pool; state-of-the-art fitness centre including the latest cardio vascular equipment, Peloton bike and free weights; eucalyptus steam room; infrared sauna, sun deck and locker rooms with shower facilities.

In addition to having access to the Wellness Floor amenities, the annual membership includes a range perks and benefits: Daily wellness elixir; Quarterly complimentary 60 minute spa treatment of choice; Access to private or group yoga, boxing, meditation, aqua-fit and personal training classes, including one complimentary initiation class; Seven guest passes throughout the year; Access to personal Beauty and Wellness Concierge; Complimentary high-speed internet; Access to savings on Hotel rates and VIP reservations; Advance access to seasonal offers, wellness events and promotions; and Special rates on spa services including 20 percent savings.

Memberships for Club27 begin at US$9,500 for a single 12-month membership and couples memberships are also available upon request.
