Marriott’s uber-cool Moxy Hotels brand is set to go from strength to strength in Australia and New Zealand over the coming years, with six more properties set to open, Wayfarer can reveal.

Speaking exclusively to Wayfarer on camera at the opening of the Moxy Sydney Airport hotel this week, Marriott International’s Area Vice President for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, Sean Hunt, said it was an exciting time for the brand down under, with the debut of the first Moxy signalling an exciting new era for the company.

On the back of strong demand, Hunt said new Moxy hotels would soon open in Auckland, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Queenstown, with even more potential properties under discussion.
