Wayfarer TV exclusive: inside Red Carnation’s classically British hotels in London

by James Wilkinson

The Red Carnation Hotel Collection is known for its collection of 17 stylish, historic and traditional hotels throughout the United Kingdom, Africa and the United States.

In the collection are five brilliant four-and five-star London hotels – The Rubens at the Palace in Victoria, The Milestone Hotel in Kensington, The Egerton House Hotel in Knightsbridge, The Chesterfield in Mayfair and The Montague on the Gardens in Bloomsbury – that are loaded up with character, unique experiences and brilliant dining.

To find out more about the properties and why the brand was recently voted number 2 the world by Travel + Leisure magazine, WAYFARER Host and Editor-In-Chief, James Gregory Wilkinson, spoke on camera in London to Red Carnation Hotel Collection’s Managing Director, Jonathan Raggett, who has been with the business since 1998.

GETTING TO LONDON

WAYFARER flew to London with British Airways. The great British airline flies daily to London Heathrow from across the world and the author recommends flying in Club World (Business Class), which features flat-bed seats, hundreds of hours’ entertainment on demand, a great selection of wine and some of the best meals in the sky.
