Talking exclusively on camera to Wayfarer on the sidelines of the launch of the Holiday Here This Year campaign – fronted by media personalities Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster-Blake – Tourism Australia Managing Director, Phillipa Harrison, said the new, AU$7 million push was about encouraging Australians to see more of the nation and in turn, provide a much-needed boost to tourism businesses and operators.
She said the time is “now right to promote domestic travel around the nation”, as borders open between states and territories and airlines take to the skies once more.
