Luxury operator Celebrity Cruises has opened bookings for its new 2023-2024 sailings around Australia and New Zealand, Alaska, the Pacific Coast and Mexico to Captain’s Club members from today (Oct 13).

A key highlight is set to be the Australia and New Zealand sailings, which will be operated by the company’s revolutionary Celebrity Edge, which will make its debut Down Under for the 2023-2024 season.

“Celebrity Edge has changed how people view a cruise holiday and she is in a class of her own with a plethora of firsts onboard,” said Celebrity Cruises Vice President and Managing Director of Australia and APAC, Tim Jones.

“We have long-anticipated her arrival to the region – this is a moment of real celebration for Australian travellers and Celebrity Cruises.”

The brand’s signature Edge Series ship will offer an array of 6- to 13-night itineraries from early December 2023 through to April 2024, which Jones said are designed to “immerse guests in the spoils of the stunning coastlines of Australia and neighbouring New Zealand, along with the tropical South Pacific”.

Amongst the other highlights, Jones said guests can choose from 3 award-winning ships, offering 7-night itineraries to Alaska’s majestic Last Frontier, as well as even more in-depth sailings along the stunning Pacific Coast with visits to unforgettable places, including Ensenada in Mexico and Catalina Island in California.

He said travelling onboard Celebrity Edge is like staying in a luxury boutique hotel with Michelin-quality dining, a luxurious spa retreat and “the world at your service”.

Bookings for the general public go on sale on Friday October 15.
