Extended stay accommodation business Urban Rest has added another property to its Sydney portfolio with the opening of Urban Rest North Sydney.

Featuring a variety of apartment options including self-contained studios, spacious one-and two-bedroom apartments, and three-bedroom split-level penthouses, the property’s position, on the corner of Doohat Avenue and Pacific Highway, offers guests terrace views of Sydney Harbour.

Launched in 2017 by founder David Whelan, Urban Rest Apartments aims to blend the experience of premium hotels with the flexibility of short-term rentals.

Urban Rest North Sydney marks the company’s 23rd property in Sydney, and its third on the north side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

“Opening Urban Rest North Sydney was a natural progression for us,” said Urban Rest Chief Executive Officer, David Whelan.

“We’ve observed a significant corporate demand in this vibrant area, and our broad customer base has been vocal about their desire for accommodations in North Sydney.

“With its prime location and stunning views, Urban Rest North Sydney meets the needs of both business and leisure travellers, providing them with a comforting retreat.”

Targeting both corporate and leisure travellers, the hotel apartments are equipped work-out kits by Peloton, with guests receiving a complimentary 30-day subscription to Peloton’s on-demand workouts.

Additional Urban Rest properties are soon set to launch in Parramatta, with the business also planning an upcoming launch into the New Zealand market.
