United sweetens the First Class offering with Magnolia

Magnolia Bakery, one of America’s most-cherished bakeshops, has revealed their famous Banana Pudding will now be available on select United flights nationwide.

The bakery’s Banana Pudding Wafer Cookie Bits is now being served in United First on flights more than 901 miles.

Served in individual, 3-ounce cups, this new Banana Pudding is made with real bananas, whipped to perfection, and inspired by Magnolia Bakery’s World-Famous Banana Pudding.

This is the first time Magnolia Bakery desserts are being served onboard a commercial airline, made possible through its latest launch of its frozen-to-thaw Banana Puddings.

This new line allows for the fresh bakery bite to be experienced anytime, anywhere – including at 30,000 feet.

“The only thing more iconic than Magnolia Bakery’s Banana Pudding is enjoying that pudding at 30,000 feet in United First – we know our customers are going to love it,” said United’s Managing Director of Hospitality Programs, Aaron McMillan.

“We’re changing the way travelers eat and drink onboard, offering more variety and more elevated options with partners like Magnolia.”

Magnolia Bakery CEO and Chief Baking Officer, Bobbie Lloyd, said: “As an avid traveler and baker, I know what an important role food can play in your travels, which is why I’m so excited to bring this new, innovative product to thousands of adventurers each year.

“This is a first-of-its-kind collaboration for Magnolia Bakery and we could not be more thrilled to be working with United.

“Our team worked for three years to develop this new Banana Pudding and we’re delighted for guests to get a sweet taste of this beloved dessert in the skies.”
