Accor and its lifestyle entity, Ennismore, have announced two upcoming openings in New Zealand, ahead of the 2025 Aotearoa Hotel Industry Conference and Exhibition (AHICE).

Tribe Auckland Fort Street is slated to open on October 14, with Jo&Joe Auckland to follow on November 3, 2025, marking the New Zealand debut of both brands.

Both hotels are owned by New Zealand-based CP Group, one of the country’s largest private hotel investors and developers.

“Tribe and Jo&Joe represent a new era of hospitality – bold, design-led, and deeply connected to the way people want to travel today.

Tribe Auckland Fort Street – located close to Britomart and Commercial Bay – will offer a bold design-led offering for the modern traveller, with 60 “compact yet high-comfort” guest rooms, a lobby bar, and a social hub designed to bring locals and travellers together.

Jo&Joe Auckland brings the brand’s signature open-house concept to the Southern Hemisphere for the first time. The new hotel will offer 298 beds across 73 rooms – from dorm-style accommodations to private options – bold interiors, a rooftop bar, and communal spaces like the playful Happy House.
