Angove’s 2019 Naturalis Cabernet Sauvignon has come up trumps at the Australian Organic Wine Awards 2020, taking out a gold medal.

The awards recognise the finest drops from the country’s best certified organic and biodynamic winemakers and the gold medal for the Naturalis is the latest in a series of local and international accolades for the South Australian winemakers.

Angove Family Winemakers Joint Managing Directors, Victoria and Richard Angove, said the company has a commitment to excellence in authentic Certified Organic winemaking, coupled with sustainable and biodynamic farming practices.

“We’re proud to be part of the Certified Organic industry in Australia,” they said. “Our team has worked tremendously hard over the past 15 years to transition our vineyards to be 100% certified organic and produce the beautifully balanced, Angove Organic wines available on shelves.

“We’re thrilled to be recognised and win at this year’s Australian Organic Wine Awards. Importantly, we are honoured to be recognised alongside our industry colleagues who are all committed to the advancement of best-in-class organic viticulture,” they said.

The 2019 Angove Naturalis Cabernet Sauvignon is available from the Angove wines website.
