“‘Your New Local’ positioning and branding was developed by the in-house Ovolo marketing and brand team to reflect the cultural hub of Wong Chuk Hang and to pay homage to Hong Kong’s rich, dynamic, and eclectic heritage across many facets of life.”
The hotel’s statement themed rooms include Rock Star Suites, a homage to music industry icons like Freddie Mercury and John Lennon, complete with a built-in bar, custom artworks and offering picturesque views.
B. Duck-themed rooms, in honour of a beloved character from Hong Kong, offer a playful retreat complete with a play tent and entertaining features for young kids.
The hotel’s premium steakhouse, Flat Iron Deluxe, serves up quality steaks, club sandwiches, weekend brunches, cooking classes and a dedicated kids’ menu, while a Wonder Bar in the lounge allows guests to purchase curated items for their rooms.
Public spaces and the arrival experience – with the reception now located on the third floor – have been reimagined to ensure a more welcoming and seamless check-in process.
There are a number of event spaces at the property including a large multi-purpose area suitable for product launches, gala dinners, seminars and more; an indoor-outdoor option on the rooftop for intimate cocktail events, dinners and meetings; and The Terrace for outdoor events.
