Qantas set to take off for the Margaret River with all-new Brisbane flights

Qantas is set to debut services to the Margaret River on June 27, 2025, with a new route between Perth and Busselton.

Operating three times a week, the new route will boost tourism into the Margaret River region, with more than 31,000 seats between the two destinations each year.

“We’re committed to supporting regional tourism and are thrilled to be growing our regional network by launching a new route into the spectacular Margaret River,” said QantasLink CEO, Rachel Yangoyan.

“Famous for its wineries, crystal clear waters and whale watching, these new flights are set to make the region even more accessible for Australians and international holidaymakers travelling through Perth.”

Flying Monday, Friday and Sunday, the route will take to the skies in time for the Australian winter school holidays and the popular whale watching season.

Following the success of Jetstar’s direct flights into Busselton from Sydney and Melbourne, the new route will deliver increased connectivity into Busselton from Perth year-round, making the region more accessible for other capital cities including Brisbane and Adelaide as well as international travellers, with good connections into the popular tourism region.

The flights will be operated by the 100-seat QantasLink Fokker F100 aircraft.
