Australia’s leading winter playground Thredbo Resort is gearing up for another bumper season, with the opening just over two weeks away.

As Thredbo Resort readies to open on June 10, early-season snowfalls and ideal snowmaking conditions have seen the New South Wales ski area is heading towards another fantastic year of alpine winter sports.

“The early season snowfalls are getting skiers and snowboarders excited for a great snow season ahead,” a spokesperson said.

“There are only 16 days to go until Opening Day on June 10, kicking off what will be a massive long weekend of celebrations on and off the mountain.

“In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Thredbo’s Winter 2023 Opening Weekend features a non-stop line-up of après, dining, live entertainment, kids’ activities and more.

“And the fun won’t stop there! Thredbo’s infamous winter events and entertainment calendar is bigger and more diverse than ever this year, with new events added to the line-up, old favourites returning and more bookings available for the hugely popular on-mountain experiences.”
