Pan Pacific Perth unveils newly transformed luxury guest rooms

by Ruth Hogan

More than a year into a major refurbishment project, Pan Pacific Perth has shared a taster of its redesign following the completion of 390 guest rooms and suites.

The project, which commenced in May 2023, is aiming to elevate the hotel to a new standard of understated luxury with comfort and functionality in mind.

The interior design is inspired by Western Australia’s diverse landscapes and supported by local partnerships, with drone photography by Tail Winds Aerial Media displayed in the hotel lobby, and Willie Creek Pearls offering guests the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to harvest their own Australian South Sea Cultured Pearls.

The redesign of the convention level ballrooms and meeting rooms, along with the lobby and exclusive Pacific Club lounge on level 7 are well underway.

The plans will also see a grand unveiling of the luxuriously appointed Presidential Suite boasting panoramic views of the city and Swan River from each of the suite’s two balconies.

The next stage of the project centres on the transformation of the 96 Pacific Club rooms and suites, with the addition of ample workspace and refreshing décor, while the arrival experience will be enhanced with transformation of the porte cochère.

The hotel has introduced bespoke experiences to reflect Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts’ brand positioning of Graceful Luxury, including the addition of a sparkling wine cocktail on arrival every Friday afternoon for the evening’s guests, as well as complimentary house-made chocolates for Club room and suite guests.

The transformation project is slated for completion by late 2024, with future works to be of minimal impact to guests.
