A getaway is off the cards. And your favourite bars and restaurants are closed. The hospitality industry’s future faces uncertainty and Australia is becoming a vastly different place to live, so here is how to get some R‘n’R with ‘R in R’ – Ovolo Hotels have a solution with Restaurant in Room.

Initially offered at Canberra’s Monster Kitchen & Bar at Ovolo Nishi from Thursday 30th April, guests can book Restaurant in Room on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for private dining only, or with the addition of an overnight stay.

So, there is now every reason to get out, practise safe social distancing and enjoy a date night out of the house, a change of scenery and wanderlust seekers seeking a vacation via staycation, ‘R in R’ offers a private dining sanctuary. Guests have the choice of a set menus in the iconic Nishi Apartments by Ovolo with hotel rooms, for up to 2 guests.

Set course menu from a partner restaurant:
-3 course $229 / Matching BEV $279 / stay the night + $90
-5 course $289 / Matching BEV $349 / stay the night + $70

An overnight stay is inclusive of The Perks (Ovolo’s signature inclusions from WiFi, in-room mini bar, breakfast) for 2 guests.

Ovolo’s will look to launch Restaurant In Room across its other venues across Australia as the various State Governments start to relax social distancing restrictions, these venues include Alibi Bar & Kitchen’s innovative plant-based dining in Sydney and Ovolo’s newest venue and ZA ZA TA, will continue to serve inspired Middle Eastern cuisine designed to be shared and savoured in Brisbane with Chef Roy Nor at the helm.

“While we wait for the landscape to change and return to levels of normality, we want to keep the wheels turning for staff, friends and colleagues in the industry, it’s a time adapt and evolve,” said Group Food & Beverage Director, Vince Lombino.

“We already pivoted with our takeaway concepts ALT CTRL EAT by Alibi and DELI by Monster, so now we have rooms to fill, so welcome Restaurant in Room!

“To take this concept to the next level, we are even looking to collaborate with our Creative Culinary Partner, Ian Curley from French Saloon, at Ovolo Laneways in Melbourne and even one step further working with our fellow restauranteurs to potentially do pop-up Restaurant In Rooms,” Lombino said.

Guests can trust that Ovolo will ensure the dining experience is one to remember. With a calendar so many options to surprise and delight, Ovolo’s Restaurant in Room is the only destination.
