According to a Malaysia Airlines spokesperson, this reinstatement “reflects a shared commitment to providing seamless travel experiences and strengthening their networks in response to growing demand for international connectivity”.

The renewed agreement sees Malaysia Airlines introducing its MH flight code on the Tashkent–Kuala Lumpur route operated by Uzbekistan Airways, marking its entry into Central Asia.

“This milestone offers Malaysia Airlines’ passengers a direct link to the region, further enriching its global network and supporting the growing demand for international travel,” the spokesperson said.
