Light touch: Behind the Sun makes flavourful debut

by James Wilkinson

Two new refreshing wines that are lower in alcohol and calories under the new Behind the Sun label have made their debut in time for summer.

The two wines, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc, were designed to be lower in alcohol and calories yet full of flavour and aromas.

Containing between 8-8.5% alcohol by volume, they are vibrant, refreshing and best enjoyed chilled.

Behind the Sun Pinot Grigio has crisp pear, red apple and pink grapefruit aromas and a crisp lime finish, while Behind the Sun Sauvignon Blanc is packed with passionfruit and citrus flavours.

They also have a secret – a colourful eye with luscious lashes on the bottle opens and shuts when placed in and out of direct sunlight thanks to UV activated ink.

As another X-factor, Behind the Sun has partnered with Conservation Volunteers Australia and every bottle sold will help provide habitat for an animal in need.
