IHG launches massive ‘stay 3, pay 2’ sale in Australia, New Zealand

IHG x Wayfarer promotion

by James Wilkinson

Aussies and Kiwis have been amazing at keeping Coronavirus under control, and now, after months of isolation, what better way to reward people than with a holiday?

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is getting ready to welcome everyone back with open (but socially distant) arms with the launch of its domestic recovery campaign to encourage staycation and self-drive experiences across Australia and New Zealand.

Aptly named ‘There’s More to See,’ the campaign is designed to inspire domestic travellers to rediscover the wonders close to home, from the fresh air of Hunter Valley to the cosmopolitan coastal capital of Adelaide, wineries of Perth, laneways of Melbourne and beyond. The campaign includes all opened hotels and resorts in Australia, as well as New Zealand for domestic travel.

There’s More to See will offer travellers the choice of two packages:
-Stay 3, Pay 2: encouraging guests to explore more and pay less, guests will receive one night complimentary for every three nights booked (valid for direct bookings only); and
-Breakfast & Parking on Us: ideal for self-drive travels, guests will receive complimentary daily parking and daily breakfast for two with their stay (valid for direct and OTA bookings)

The campaign is now live and valid for bookings made until 31 July and stay dates until 30 December 2020. Importantly, guests will book with full confidence.

IHG continues to lead the market with flexible booking conditions and both offers require no deposit and full flexibility or cancellation up to one day before the stay date.
