High flying: Qatar Airways Privilege Club recognised at awards event

Qatar Airways has reaffirmed its position as a leader in Australian aviation, taking home three prestigious titles at the 2025 WeMoney Awards, including the coveted ‘Frequent Flyer Programme of the Year’.

The airline was recognised for excellence across multiple categories, including Winner – Frequent Flyer Programme of the Year; Winner – Best for Lounge Access; and Winner – Best for Member Benefits.

These latest wins highlight the growth of Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club programme, which continues to set the standard for rewarding frequent flyers with unmatched value, flexibility, and premium experiences both in the air and on the ground.

“We are truly honoured to be recognised by the 2025 WeMoney Awards for our Privilege Club programme, which is a testament to our unwavering commitment to rewarding loyal travellers with excellence,” said Qatar Airways Senior Vice President Business-to-Consumer, Christophe Guittard.

“These accolades reflect the strength of our loyalty offering and our focus on elevating the travel experience at every touchpoint. In Australia, Privilege Club members benefit from exclusive connectivity through Virgin Australia, enhanced onboard experience with Starlink Wi-Fi, and tailored privileges like access to exclusive world-class lounges.

“Our unique portfolio, including Qatar Duty Free — the world’s leading airport retail experience — ensures exceptional value, choice, and memorable journeys.”

This recognition is the latest for Qatar Airways this year. In June, it was named the World’s Best Airline by Skytrax in 2025 for a record-breaking ninth time.

The airline also took home World’s Best Business Class, Best Airline in the Middle East, Best Business Class Airline Lounge (Al Mourjan Lounge – The Garden at Hamad International Airport) and Skytrax 5-Star Airline recognition.

Qatar Airways currently flies to over 170 destinations worldwide, via excellent connections through the multiple award-winning Hamad International Airport.
