Delta and partner Aeromexico are continuing to work together to enhance the customer’s travel experience and reduce stress.

Effective this month (Feb 1), customers transferring from Delta flights to Aeromexico and Aeromexico Connect flights at Mexico City’s Benito Juarez International Airport will no longer have to claim their bags and then re-check them for their connecting Aeromexico flight.

Bags will now automatically be transferred to the next destination and the airlines say this is “one of many thoughtful ways in which Delta and Aeromexico are designing a hassle-free and seamless experience on transborder flights, while allowing customers to have more time to make their connections and enjoy the travel experience”.
