Club Wyndham invests millions in revitalising Australian coastal property

Travel and Leisure Co. has slated a major five-million-dollar transformation of one of its leading club apartments, bringing coastal energy to the property.

Club Wyndham South Pacific and Wyndham Surfers Paradise are managed by Travel and Leisure Co., and will begin the multi-million dollar refurbishment of Wyndham Surfers Paradise Gold Coast, changing the interiors of the 77 apartments to embrace a “sophisticated coastal aesthetic”, the group stated.

The vision will be realised through an “Ocean Blue” scheme, featuring ocean-blue walls paired with warm white linens, light oak joinery, woven textures, engineered stone, polished chrome finishes and rattan accents that reinforce the connection to the coast.

The Sky Suites on the top floors will feature a “Seafoam Green” scheme, with stone benchtops, polished chrome fixtures, bronze mirror accents and rattan weave detailing, complimented with flax linen sheer curtains to allow for Queensland’s natural light to filter through, while maintaining a relaxed, residential feel.

Across living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and balconies, the renovation introduces cohesive palettes, updated cabinetry, contemporary furniture and layered textiles with bedrooms thoughtfully refreshed to create a tranquil retreat with feature paint finishes and coastal artwork, while ensuites and bathrooms will include premium finishes and modern fixtures.

“When our club members stay, they want to do more than see and experience a destination – they want to feel connected to it. This refurbishment is designed to reflect the natural elements that make the Gold Coast one of the nation’s most iconic tourist destinations,” Wyndham Surfers Paradise General Manager, Patrick Swain said.

“Whether club owners are stepping out to catch a sunrise surf, enjoying an evening in the heart of the action, or simply unwinding on their private balcony, Wyndham Surfers Paradise will offer a refreshed, contemporary retreat that mirrors the beauty and vibrancy of its surroundings. Across our network, our club properties are continually upgraded and refurbished to deliver contemporary comfort, quality and consistency.”

The multi-million-dollar investment is part of Club Wyndham South Pacific’s long-term strategy to continually upgrade and maintain properties by reinvesting in its resorts.

“The club ensures owners enjoy contemporary design, thoughtful functionality and enduring quality with every stay,” the group stated.

In line with Club Wyndham’s commitment to sustainability and philanthropy, all quality pre-owned furniture will be given to Lifeline.
