Work is underway on a highly anticipated Voco hotel on New South Wales’ Central Coast as part of the AU$375 million Archibald precinct, which celebrated a topping out ceremony this week.

NSW Premier the Hon. Chris Minns MP joined local MPs and members of the business community and key stakeholders for the official ceremony and hard-hat tour of the Aland development, which is set to open later this year, bringing a major boost to the Central Coast region.

The 130-key Voco Gosford, opening mid-2025, will be the first new-build hotel to open in the region in more than 15 years. It will feature 700sqm of conferencing and event facilities catering for up to 600 people and a rooftop Grand Ballroom with city views.

The hotel will join 327 high-end apartments and six hospitality venues within the precinct, including the Central Coast’s highest rooftop bar.

Its design will follow a colour palette of aqua blue, earthy ochres, eucalyptus greens and sunshine yellow, reflecting its natural surroundings.

“This is the first time since 2007 that a major new-build hotel has opened on the Central Coast and as part of the $375 million Archibald by ALAND mix-use development, it’s going to change the face of the city,” said Aland Founder and Director, Andrew Hrsto.

“We’re thrilled to be working with IHG to bring the seventh Voco hotel in Australasia, and the second regional NSW Voco property, to the Central Coast. This is our first development in the region as well as our first hotel project which marks a significant milestone not just for us, but for the region.”
