Bubbledogs is back at London’s 45 Park Lane

by James Wilkinson

This summer, 45 Park Lane will welcome the return of famed Champagne and hotdog concept Bubbledogs for a special alfresco pop-up at the Mayfair hotel’s exclusive terrace: CUT Out.

In collaboration with 45 Park Lane’s executive chef Elliott Grover and the founders of Bubbledogs and two Michelin starred Kitchen Table, Sandia Chang and James Knappett, the bespoke menu of gourmet hotdogs and grower Champagne pairings will be available exclusively at ‘Bubbledogs at 45’.

“I am thrilled to collaborate with James and Sandia, the creative minds behind Bubbledogs and Kitchen Table,” Grover said.

“This partnership will offer a unique dining experience with innovative and fun dishes. For devoted Bubbledogs enthusiasts, it’s the perfect chance to savour their beloved gourmet hotdogs again and enjoy the summer on our beautiful terrace.”

The much loved Bubbledogs restaurant, with a cult following, closed at its previous incarnation within Michelin starred Kitchen Table in 2020, and will return within Dorchester Collection’s 45 Park Lane with a special menu available from Friday, May 10, to Sunday, September 29, 2024, for daily lunch and dinner.

Chef Elliott’s flair for modern American cooking will blend seamlessly with James’ focus on British traditions and flavours, matched with grower Champagnes hand selected by Sandia. Both chefs are passionate about using the best ingredients and this has been thoughtfully incorporated into all elements of the menu.

The dogs are created to Bubbledogs specifications with top quality ingredients from The Franconian Sausage Company, served in freshly baked rolls from the CUT Pastry Kitchen.

The menu will consist of several innovative flavour pairings served alongside fun finger foods including; American classic tater tots spiced with Japanese togarashi, CUT’s famed Mac & Cheese and Bubbledogs signature Buffalo Chicken Wings.

A uniquely indulgent chocolate hot dog made with Jivara chocolate ganache served on a cinnamon brioche with a cherry and passion fruit sauce is also available.
