Boutique Burnie hotel to open next month

Tasmania is soon set to welcome a new boutique hotel in the northwest coastal town of Burnie with the upcoming opening of One North Terrace.

The 30-key property, which is scheduled to open in September, is owned by Elphinstone Group, a privately-run, family business based in Burnie, and has been built by Tasmania-born construction group Fairbrother 1834 Hotels will manage the hotel, bringing experience in managing boutique and independent hotels across Australia. “One North Terrace will provide Burnie with another high-quality accommodation option for both business and leisure travellers alike, while showcasing the natural beauty and charm of this wonderful part of Tasmania,” said Elphinstone Group Corporate Pty Ltd Executive Director, Kelly Elphinstone. “We are proud to collaborate with Fairbrother, whose expertise in large, quality construction projects has been pivotal in bringing this project to life. “We look forward to welcoming our first guests, offering them a high-quality accommodation experience and genuine Tasmanian hospitality. “This hotel represents a significant development for the area, and we are proud to be part of Burnie’s continued growth and prosperity.” Elphinstone Group was founded in 1975 by Dale and Cheryl Elphinstone and is made up of several operating businesses and varied investments across the globe. The Burnie hotel will offer sea views, TV casting, high-speed Wi-Fi and on-site parking.
