Built by award-winning Melbourne property developer, Beulah, the 210-room hotel will be located in the western tower of the development, which is set to be Australia’s tallest building and home to the world’s tallest vertical garden, stretching 5.5 kilometres into the sky. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts President, Global Business Development and Portfolio Management, Bart Carnahan, said the project will set a new standard for luxury in Melbourne.
“[The hotel will offer] guests an exceptional Four Seasons experience set within an environment that will be unmatched in this market,” Carnahan said.
“At Four Seasons, we look for opportunities where we can be part of innovative new projects, with partners who share our vision for excellence – Four Seasons Hotel Melbourne is no exception, and we look forward to welcoming guests through our doors in the years ahead.”
Four Seasons Hotel Melbourne will welcome guests through the Sky Lobby situated on the 63rd floor, which offers panoramic views of Melbourne’s skyline, beachfront and Royal Botanical Gardens.
It will also offer a world-class health and wellness experience, rooftop restaurant and bar, multiple event spaces.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has a long-standing reputation globally as a leading luxury brand. It currently operates 122 hotels and resorts, and 48 residential properties in 47 countries, and holds the greatest number of Forbes Travel Guide Five-Stars ever awarded to a single brand, with 46 properties, 13 spas and two restaurants holding this distinction as of 2021.
Beulah Executive Director Adelene Teh said the hospitality giant aligned perfectly to STH BNK’s ethos and vision.
“Four Seasons will provide an uber-luxurious lifestyle offering to Melbourne’s residents and visitors alike, one that fuses wellness, sustainability, art and culture, and innovation, providing guests with everything they need within the one destination,” Teh said.
“It will also pay homage to Victoria’s Garden State title, tying in with STH BNK and Beulah’s commitment to biophilic design and will be further strengthened via a health and wellness theme. All of these elements will culminate to create an urban resort in the sky.”
Beyond the hotel, STH BNK By Beulah will feature four collections of private residences, public and green spaces, a rooftop sky garden, 3,000 seat auditorium, commercial offices, childcare centre, a health and wellness precinct, arts and culture spaces and programs, as well as world-class experiential retail.
Construction is expected to begin later this year and will take approximately five years to complete.
