The agreement marks the first signing between the pair, and will see Accor operate Novotel Sydney Castle Hill, a new-build hotel, within the Nova Rêve mixed-use precinct in Sydney’s north-west.
Reve Group, a Hills District-based developer, has a strong foothold in the region. This latest hotel development is slated to open in early 2029, bringing a new internationally recognised hotel brand to the area, and will be part of a residential, retail and landscaped public gardens precinct in the Castle Hill town centre near shopping and transport hubs.
Novotel Sydney Castle Hill will feature 143 guestrooms, restaurants, cafes and bars, a fitness centre, a pool, and conference and events facilities to meet growing business and leisure demand in the region.
Accor stated the signing reflected growing confidence in Sydney’s north-west, where significant investment in transport, commercial, residential and lifestyle infrastructure is transforming the region into one of Greater Sydney’s fastest-growing precincts.
“The signing of Novotel Sydney Castle Hill is a testament to the resilient demand for trusted, internationally recognised hospitality brands in key economic and lifestyle corridors across the Asia-Pacific region,” Accor Chief Executive Officer, MEA APAC, Duncan O’Rourke said.

“As urban dynamics shift, integrated mixed-use precincts like Nova Rêve are becoming the blueprint for modern living and travel. By partnering with Reve Group, we are not only expanding our footprint in Australia but also reinforcing our commitment to delivering versatile, high-quality hospitality hubs that serve both global travellers and thriving local communities.”
The signing comes as mixed-use developments gain momentum across the Pacific, and adds to the group’s Novotel network of more than 620 hotels in 70 countries.
“Castle Hill is one of Sydney’s most dynamic growth corridors, supported by major investment in transport, retail and residential infrastructure,” Accor Chief Operating Officer in the Pacific region, Adrian Williams said.
“The signing of Novotel Sydney Castle Hill reflects our confidence in the future of the Hills District and the growing opportunity for hotels to play an important role within mixed-use precincts, bringing together accommodation, dining, meetings and social spaces that serve visitors and local communities alike. Working with our partners Reve Group, we look forward to delivering a hotel that supports the continued evolution of this precinct and meets the changing needs of business and leisure travellers.”
The precinct will comprise 253 apartments across three towers, rising to 23 levels at its tallest point, more than 1,600 square metres of ground-level shops and cafes, and almost an acre of landscaped communal gardens. The precinct’s architecture and interiors will be led by Turner, with landscaping design handled by Land and Form Studios.

“As a local developer, we are proud to be shaping a project that responds to the future of Castle Hill and the wider Hills District. By partnering with Accor to bring Novotel to Nova Rêve, we add a globally recognised hospitality brand to the precinct and strengthen the development’s offering for residents, visitors, businesses and the broader community. It also gives the district somewhere to hold a conference, a wedding or a family celebration, and somewhere for visitors to stay, without leaving Castle Hill,” Reve Group Managing Director, Sam Kassis said.
