Luxury Escapes has unveiled its newest Signature Series experience, a culinary journey through the Mediterranean jewel of Malta, hosted by acclaimed chef, restaurateur and television personality Shane Delia.

Fresh from leading Luxury Escapes’ sold-out Signature Series tour through Türkiye, Delia will return to his Maltese roots, guiding travellers through the rich flavours, history and culture of Malta and its sister island, Gozo, as part of an exclusive eight-day itinerary departing in April 2027.

Alongside unforgettable culinary experiences, travellers will explore Malta’s stunning landscapes and rich heritage, including Mdina, the ancient, fortified city that famously served as King’s Landing in the first season of Game of Thrones.

From the bustling seafood markets of Marsaxlokk to candlelit countryside feasts, travellers will experience Malta’s vibrant food scene firsthand, meeting the chefs, producers and local artisans behind some of the country’s most iconic dishes, including pastizzi (savoury pastries), freshly caught seafood and traditional slow-cooked stews.

Delia said he can’t wait to show off both the country and the cuisine.

“Growing up with a strong connection to my Maltese heritage, I’m excited to have the opportunity to share this destination with travellers and introduce them to the Malta I know and love.”
