Accor’s bespoke Handwritten Collection has grown to 50 addresses across 20 countries, just three years after its launch. 

The global portfolio of bespoke, independently-owned boutique hotels is expected to double in size, with more than 50 additional hotels said to be in development across the globe. 

The milestone comes following a wave of recent openings across Europe and Asia including Hotel Rathauspark Wien (Austria), Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao (China), and Château de Mazan (France).

“Each hotel is thoughtfully curated, celebrating character over standardisation and story over uniformity,” the group stated.

Next month the Treasure Island TI Las Vegas will make its debut, becoming the Collection’s second address in the United States, marking the group’s continued expansion across North America.

“Handwritten Collection was created to celebrate individuality and human connection,” Accor Global Brand President, Midscale & Economy, Jean-Yves Minet said. 

“Reaching 50 hotels is an exciting milestone, but what matters most is the feeling each stay creates – something personal, memorable, and rooted in real experiences. We look forward to welcoming even more travellers into the collection as it continues to grow.”

Handwritten Collection in the Pacific includes Hotel Morris Sydney occupying a restored 1920s building that blends Art Deco character with contemporary design, offering easy access to the city’s cultural precincts, dining scene, and iconic landmarks. In a second hotel for Sydney, Hotel Woolstore 1888 Sydney is located in Sydney’s Pyrmont neighbourhood, with the heritage hotel housed within a former wool store dating back to 1888. The Wonil Hotel Perth is situated on the banks of the Swan River within Perth’s Nedlands precinct offering a peaceful retreat close to Kings Park, the city centre, and the University of Western Australia.  

Other popular properties include Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa, Baia Delle Zagare – in Italy and Saint Gervais Hotel & Spa in France.
